IAM (SENIOR CITIZENS)

Carried out by a multidisciplinary team, EU SOU (I am) is an artistic and social project that aims to celebrate and regenerate the identity of senior citizens, contributing to their personal enhancement and strengthening their sense of belonging to the community in which they live.

Throughout several group sessions, structured art-therapy work takes place that involves individual and collective approaches. The creation of personal "memory boxes" and the sharing of stories are part of an intervention that stimulates the self-expression of each senior participant and their mastery over the process of artistic exploration.

At the core of EU SOU is the Lumicroma photographic reproduction process, which is easy to handle, ecological and heliographic.
Because of its artistic, therapeutic, emotional, and social relevance, the project is object of scientific interest; in fact, its founding nucleus includes academic researchers.
EU SOU program is ready. Lumicroma is receptive to take it to its target audience - there is that will from institutions and partner entities.
