Lumicroma is an online photography gallery founded on rigorous, ethical, and discerning artistic curation—presenting acclaimed and emerging creators in dialogue, and connecting them to a truly global audience. 
We believe art should contribute to cultural, social, intellectual, and environmental transformation. That’s why we integrate scientific research into our programming, champion environmentally responsible practices, and uphold sustainability and transparency in our relationships with artists, institutions, collectors, and partners.

Though Lumicroma’s roots are in Portugal, our reach is boundless: we are a community made of places, stories, and perspectives from all those who create or experience photography. We believe artistic excellence must walk hand in hand with social and cultural responsibility; we therefore foster ethical practices, transparent relationships, and a collaborative community forged across many territories, experiences, and viewpoints.

The annual international IN COLORS PROJECT open call, among other global initiatives, makes Lumicroma a hub for reflection, dialogue, and collaboration among photographers, institutions, and communities.
